Juneteenth ensures that, Blacks living in America never perish!  What is Juneteenth?  Juneteenth (a portmanteau of June and nineteenth), happens to a special day for blacks in the United States to commemorate the end of slavery.  Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Celebrated on every 19th of June, Juneteenth grew with more participation from descendants as they treated the day as their Independence Day, according to the Texas State Library.  It spread to other states and has been celebrated every year since. This celebration is yet to be a National official holiday but that of 47 states official holiday.  Hawaii, North Dakota and South Dakota are the only states without an official recognition. As the saying thus, "the river that forgets it's source, plans to extinct",  ADACI celebrates its source.  For almost three decades, the African Diaspora Ancestral Commemoration Institute  (ADACI) ,  has been recognizing it's source by celebrating the millions of men, women and children who perished during the trans-Atlantic slave trade (“the Maafa”), and those who survived.  The non-profit institute chapter in Nigeria commemorated the ancestors by the sharing palliative to the residents of Meran community area in Lagos State Nigeria to relief them during this unprecedented time. The sitting King, HRM Oba Samuel Awoyemi Oroja Akarakiri II, Onimeran of Meran kingdom in his appreciation speech thanked Adaci team for the kind gesture shown to the people of his community. Finally, the members of Publication Committee of the Oke-Itase 2020/2021 Organizing Committee set up by the International Council for Ifa Religion have officially released the messages from Ifá from the Odu revealed, ogbè alárá at Ile Ife during the World Annual Ifá Òrìsà festival 2020. Oke Itase 2020/21: Full message from the Odu (Ogbè Alárá)

Credit: Facebook The World Annual Ifá Òrìsà festival 2020/21 which took place in Ile-Ife within the 5-7 of June came with the sacred odu of Ogbe Alárá accompanied by Àyẹwò (Ikú). According to a viral WhatsApp audio clip by one Emioye Ifadayisi, therein contains the full Ifá messages from the just-concluded festival. Osun State, Lagos State, Kwara state, Ekiti state, Oyo state served as mouthpieces in passing the Ifa's messages. Read beneath the full Ifa's messages. 1: Ifa says every practitioner should feed his/her Ori with Snail respectively. We should also procure a snail to feed Esu. It says every practitioner should ensure the feeding of the Ooni of Ife Ori. This is for peace and security according to Ifa. 2: Ifa says we should never despise one another. World IFA Festival Oke-Itase 2020: Ogbè Alárá (Òtúrá) appears, forsees Ikú

It was a remarkable celebration for Ifá Òrìsà practitioners across globe  when they mark their Annual World IFA Festival at Òkè-Itase, Ilé-ifẹ̀ despite the Corona virus pandemic. The Odu that appeared for practitioners across globe is Ogbè Alárá( Òtúrá) which came with Àyẹwò (Ikú).  This celebration coincides with the Yorùbá New year. According to the Yorùbá calendar which means Kojoda (May the day be forseen), this marks the 10,062nd year recorded in their history since the establishment of the calendar by Orunmila. This New year's Odu came, seven days after the Odu (Èjì ogbè ) was revealed at the World Annual Ifá Òrìsà Pilgrimage Òkè Olota 2020. Details of the Odu will be shared eftsoons.
