NDLEA Arrests Single Mother For Inserting Heroine In Private Part

The NDLEA on Thursday arrested a 31-year-old single mother for concealing 430 grammes of heroin in her private part in a bid to avoid arrest. The Head of Public Affairs of the NDLEA, Mr Mitchell Ofoyeju, made the disclosure in a statement in Ikeja. He said the arrest took place at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos during the inward screening of passengers on an Emirates Airlines flight. The Commander of the NDLEA at the airport, Mr Hamza Umar, was quoted as saying that the arrest was facilitated with the aid of scanning machines. “During the inward screening of Emirate passengers, one Aladi Onyinye Juliet tested positive for narcotic ingestion. “The drug was, subsequently, expelled, field-tested and weighed.” Hamza said that preliminary investigation carried out by the NDLEA indicated that the suspect was returning from Pakistan where she was given the drug. “The suspect who hails from Abia State also has established link with some Pakistani drug traffi

Court orders AIT,NTA from airing damaging documentary on Osibanjo

The Federal High Court in Lagos has restrained Daar Communications Plc (AIT) from broadcasting any video documentaries against All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice-Presidential candidate Prof Yemi Osinbajo (SAN). According to Thisday,the order by Justice James Tsoho was made on Wednesday has been extended to all other broadcast stations under the control of the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria including NTA The application was brought before the court by Osinbajo through his lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN).. The Senior Advocate of Nigeria had complained to the court that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, having adjudged him a threat, sponsored the documentaries to cause him disaffection in the eye of the public. AIT and NTA had, for weeks running, aired a documentary detailing the “atrocious” past of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.). Madonna has confirmed she dated Tupac Shakur .The 56-year-old talked about her brief relationship with the rapper while on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show. Stern asked her if she liked Tv host David Letterman because back in the 90s all of her interviews appeared hostile. Madonna said she was usually flirting with the late night host except for one appearance in 1994 where she was a bit vulgar in her language.
