Drogba completes Chelsea return

Chelsea have completed the signing of Didier Drogba on a one-year contract. The 36-year-old returns to Stamford Bridge having left in 2012 after winning the Champions League. Drogba, who featured for Cote d'Ivoire at the World Cup earlier this summer, has scored 157 goals in 341 appearances for Chelsea and has also won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups and two League Cups with the club."It was an easy decision,” the striker told the club’s official website."I couldn't turn down the opportunity to work with Jose again. Giggs says that new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaalshares a similar aura to Sir Alex Ferguson. The Dutchman took charge of the Red Devils for the first time on Thursday, overseeing a 7-0 pre-season friendly win over LA Galaxy. Van Gaal has famously won titles with Ajax, Bayern Munich and Barcelona during his coaching career and Giggs is not surprised at his vast success. "Yes, I do see similarities [with Ferguson]," the Welshman told reporters. "They both have an aura about them but that comes from the success they have had." Politicians Buy Human Parts From Me, Nabbed Suspect Confesses [See Photo]

The Kwara state Police command on wednessday July 23rd paraded two men who they said are involved in trading of human parts. The men whose names were given asAmos Kareem and Abubakar Ladan were arrested with human head, leg and hand in Tabira village, Okuta in Baruten LGA of the state, according to a report by Vanguard.When interviewed, one of the suspects,Abubakar LadansaidAmos Kareem promised to give him a motorcycle if he could find him human head, hand and leg.His desire to own a motorcycle made him go to a cemetery where he exhumed bodies and cut off their heads, hands and legs (pictured above).When asked what he wanted to do with the human parts,Amos Kareemsaid he sold them to politicians. He however refused to disclose the identities of the politicians. The police also paraded a man said to be an accomplice, having accommodated thesuspects in Tabira village, though the mandenied knowledge of the business Kareem and Ladanwere involved in.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that he will adopt a three-man defence for the upcoming Premier League season. The Red Devils beat LA Galaxy 7-0 in their first pre-season match of the summer, with Jonny Evans, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling all starting in a back line similar to Van Gaal’s Netherlands team at the World Cup. New recruit Luke Shaw and Ecuador international Antonio Valencia operated as wing-backs and the new boss explained that it was a sign of things to come. “We introduced a new system that we have only played two times on the training pitch 11 versus 11,” the Dutch man told reporters post-game, “but the boys are willing to pick up the information. It is fantastic how they have performed.
