Oke Olota 2020/21: Pilgrimage observed virtually, mark in style, records 16 countries parcitipants

The first of its kind. The ICIR President, Chief Solagbade Popoola took to his Facebook page to disclose this development. He said this was a result of the social distancing and all.  "This year's (2020/2021) Annual World Ifa/Orisa Pilgrimage will not take place as a result of social distancing and all. This is the reason why the leadership of The International Council For Ifa Religion opted for virtual participation during the time that the Annual Ifa consultation will take place". He said. Mobile Policeman Shoots Police Boss To Death In Bauchi

A mobile policeman in Bauchi state shot dead his superior and former ADC to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, Superintendent of Police, Chris Eza (pictured above), yesterday February 26th in Bauchi. According to family sources, Chris Eza had gone out to get food at an eatery along Ahmadu Bello way around 9pm when he saw some police officers on patrol. On observation, he found out that one of them, the suspect, was not properly dressed and immediately cautioned him. The junior officer, a Corporal, got angry and began to grumble for being told to dress properly. An angry Chris felt his action was unacceptable and warned the officer that he was going to disarm him if he didn’t take care. Instead of apologizing, the junior officer cocked his gun and threatened to shoot his boss. He told Eza that if he came close to him, he would shoot. A police officer was shot dead and a staff of Channels TV stabbed during the clash that broke out at the APC Governorship rally in Rivers state earlier today. In a chat with newsmen, the state APC Governorship candidate, Dakuku Peterside said five policemen were shot at the rally“Five police officers were shot. One of them is dead and four are lying in critical condition at this hospital.” he said Channels TV staff who was stabbed is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
