Bomb blasts in Gombe kills 20

According to Vanguard, A bombing at a bus station in Gombe city in northeast Nigeria killed at least 20 people on Monday, the latest violence in the region repeatedly targeted by Boko Haram, the Red Cross said. “There was an explosion at the Dukku motor park. The Red Cross mobilised with 20 body bags and they have all been exhausted. We are still looking for more bodies among the carnage,” said Abubakar Yakubu Gome, the Red Cross secretary for Gombe state.

Thugs Invade Church, Attack Pastor, Members, Steal Offering

This is really insanity. According to a report, Scores of thugs reportedly, invaded the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Pillar of Fire, located at L.A. primary school area of Akure , the Ondo state capital, at the weekend during service, flogged the pastor known as Pastor Arije and other church members. Besides that, the hoodlums who reportedly stormed the church on motorcycles, were also said to have destroyed some other items inside the church which include, plastic chairs, wall clock, window glass and electrical appliances among others after the members had run away for safety. Reports gathered that policemen who came to calm the situation arrested some of the hoodlums but were attacked by the mob who consequently rescued the arrested thugs. According to the eyewitness account, during the attempt to rescue their colleagues from the hands of the policemen, one of the cops was stabbed on the neck with a broken bottle by one of the hoodlums. Confirming the
