In the same vein, all those born by this Odu either during initiation or Ikosedaye are to do the same as stated above.

MAIN MESSAGES OF IFA IN EJI OGBE

1. Ifa says that there is the need for all Temples and Shrines all over the world to offer ebo in order for Orunmila himself to come to our rescue. Ifa says that the principalities of Iku, Death, Arun, Affliction, Ejo, Contention and Ofo, Loss have taken over the land. Not only that, they had also chased all human beings away from the land and the farm. All humans are scared and are peeping through the doors, windows and crevices of their homes for fear of the unknown. Ifa says that all these fears shall be totally incapacitated.

Ifa advises each Temple or Shrine to offer ebo with a mature he goat, two guinea fowls and money. Ifa also says that the Temples and Shrines also need to feed Ifa with mashed yam and epo. They also need to feed Obaluaye with the same mashed yam and epo. On this, Ifa says:

2. Ifa says that Orunmila is prepared to convert Iku, Death to Owo, Wealth, and convert Affliction, Arun to Spouse, and convert Contention, Ejo, to Omo, Children and convert Ofo, Loss to Ogbo, Longevity for all Ifa/Orisa devotees.

At the same time, Ifa warns that even though these principalities will be incapacitated, this does not mean that they are no longer available or in existence. There is the need for us to take all necessary precautions to ensure that they are not released from where they had been incarcerated.

Ifa says that anyone pursuing wealth without moderation or scruples is looking for untimely death; those who are after the pleasures derivable from the flesh of the opposite sex are looking for afflictions; those looking for kids are bound to engage in unending contentions; and those who want to live long and grow very old are bound to experience series of losses.

Ifa advises each Temple or Shrine to offer ebo with four guinea fowls, four pigeons and money. The ebo will be offered inside four ebo plates and will be placed in the four corners of each Temple or Shrine. It may also be placed in each community where there are many Ifa/Orisa devotees.

After this, each Temple, Shrine or Community needs to procure four Obi, kolanuts, four orogbo, bitter kolas and four ataare, alligator peppers. These items will be taken to the center of the four crossroads. One obi, orogbo and ataare will be thrown to the east, another one each will be thrown to the north, another one each to the west while the last ones will be thrown to the south. The person who went to throw these seeds will then return home without looking backwards.

One this, Ifa says:

They must never engage in anything that will stain them or ruin their reputation.

Ifa advises the leadership of each Temple, Shrine or Community to offer ebo with one he goat and money. They also need to live above board and must be seen to be doing so.

Conversely, all Ifa and Orisa devotees must never reduce others, lest they suffer the wrath of Olodumare.
