Ahead of the UCL clash between Real Madrid and Liverpool at the Santiago Benabeau on Tuesday. Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers has said Real Madrid have top players and it will be a big task for him and his players. To fund infrastructure, Nigeria needs about $14 billion every year - Okonjo Iweala

According to Dailytrust , Nigeria needs an annual investment of $14billion to boost infrastructure in the country, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance has said. The minister said this at the Public Private Partnership (PPP) stakeholders’ workshop organized by the African Development Bank (AfDB), in Abuja,on Monday. “To fund infrastructure, Nigeria needs about $14 billion every year, out of which$10 billion should come from the federal level. And this estimate is not comprehensive because it is likely to be higher when the total financial outlay needed to fund the Infrastructure Master plan is calculated,” said okonjo-iweala. “Currently the country’s spending on infrastructure is about $6 billion, so there is a big gap that needs to be filled. Dangote Cement Plc cuts down Cement price to N1000

Dangote Cement Plc has announced a 41% reduction in the prices of cement, with the different grades now selling for between N1,000 and N1,150, exclusive of Value Added Tax. Now, 50kg of the 32.5 cement grade sells for N1,000, while the higher 42.5 grade will go for N1,150 per bag instead of the current N1,700 that both grades were sold for. The new price structure was announced by the Group MD, Dangote Cement, Mr. Devakumar Edwin, who said “We recognise the need for a dramatic increase inthe response to the hugeinfrastructure and housing deficit in the country, and one of the ways of addressing the issue is bringing the price of building materials down to much more affordable levels, especially cement, whichis within our own control as part of our contribution to the transformation agenda ofthe President Goodluck Jonathan administration and the attainment of keymilestones in the Millennium Development Goals.” Source- music212
