Bill Gates has been declared the richest man in the world for the 16th time by Forbes magazine’s annual ranking of global billionaires. The Microsoft founder once again beat Mexican businessman Carlos Slim to the top spot. Mr Gates’ net worth rose by just over $3bn (£1.94bn) in the year to 13 February, to $79bn. There are a record 1,826 billionaires in the world, Forbes said, an increase of 181 in the past 12 months. Mr Gates has now been top of the list for 16 of the last 21 years, Forbes added. Legendary US investor Warren Buffett regained third place in the list with a net worth of $72.7bn, from Amancio Ortega, the founder of Spanish fashion chain Zara. Indonesia is nearly ready to execute by firing squad nine foreigners and an Indonesian condemned for drug smuggling. According to ABC news,they are four  Australians Andrew Chan, 31, and Myuran Sukumaran, 33, who are currently in a Bali jail, Raheem Agbaje Salami, 45, a Nigerian national who was born in Cordova, Spain, and 30-year-old Filipina Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso. The four convicts being transferred, two Nigerians and four men from  Brazil , France, Ghana and Indonesia will be executed simultaneously by a firing squad on the prison island off Indonesia's main island of Java. The Nigerians face execution after their clemency requests were rejected by Indonesian President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo last  month , said Attorney General's office spokesman Tony Spontana. A man committed bestiality with a chicken in  Kenya. Ndanu Mwatha, 22, said the act, that led to the death of the bird, was in retaliation to the killing of his chicken by his employer. Starreports Mwatha said his boss did not compensate him."I could not hold it anymore plus these people undermine me,"According to he Star Area assistant chief Agnes Musili said Mwatha committed the act when the chicken entered his house. Attackers in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka have hacked to death a US-Bangladeshi blogger whose writings on religion angered Islamist hardliners. Avijit Roy, an atheist who advocated secularism, was attacked as he walked back from a book fair with his wife, who was also hurt in the attack. No-one has been arrested but police say they are investigating a local Islamist group that praised the killing. Hundreds of people gathered in Dhaka to mourn the blogger's death. Mr Roy's family say he received threats after publishing articles promoting secular views, science and social issues on his Bengali-language blog, Mukto-mona (Free Mind). South Korea’s Constitutional Court has struck down a 60-year-old statute outlawing adultery under which violators faced up to two years in prison. The nine-member bench ruled by seven to two that the 1953 law was unconstitutional in a judgement handed down on Thursday. “Even if adultery should be condemned as immoral, state power should not intervene innindividuals’ private lives,” said presiding justice Park Han-Chul. It was the fifth time the apex court had considered the constitutional legality of the legislation which had made South Korea one of the few non-Muslim countries to regard marital infidelity as a criminal act. In the past six years, close to 5,500 people have been formerly arraigned on adultery charges – including nearly 900 in 2014. But the numbers had been falling, with cases that end in prison terms increasingly rare. The lead detective assigned to the murder case of "America's Next Top Model" star Mirjana Puhar ironically has a connection to the victim ... they're both reality TV stars. Det. Norma McKee was on A&E's"The First 48" -- a docuseries about murder investigations -- back in 2011, when she was just a rookie. The episode chronicled a double-murder investigation, her first, involving a couple that was shot point blank in their car by a backseat passenger. McKee got her man, who is currently serving 28 years after pleading guilty to two counts of second degree murder.  Puhar and two other people were killed Tuesday in Charlotte, NC. A court in Egypt has ordered the release on bail of two Al Jazeera journalists being retried for allegedly aiding the banned Muslim Brotherhood. Mohamed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed were imprisoned in June along with their Australian colleague, Peter Greste. But their convictions for spreading false news to help a terrorist group were overturned on appeal last month. Mr Greste was freed last week under a law allowing the deportation of foreign nationals to their home countries. Mr Fahmy has given up his Egyptian citizenship to qualify for deportation to Canada, but Mr Mohamed has no foreign passport. The journalists strenuously deny collaborating with the banned Muslim Brotherhood after the overthrow of President Mohammed Morsi by the military in 2013. Militants fighting for the Islamic State in Syria have publicly beheaded a man for allegedly practicing witchcraft – the latest in a long line of barbaric executions carried out by the terror group. A commuter train has hit a vehicle at a level crossing north of New York City, killing at least seven people and injuring 12, officials say. The train, with about 800 passengers on board, hit the Jeep Cherokee near Valhalla - about 20 miles (32km) from New York - on Tuesday evening. The vehicle's female driver was killed, along with six people on the train, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said. The car and front carriage of the train caught fire following the crash. The packed commuter train had left Grand Central Station in New York City and was heading to Wassaic in south-east New York State. The crossing gates at the railroad had come down on top of the vehicle, which had stopped on the tracks, Metro-North Railroad spokesman Aaron Donovan said. The driver got out to look at the damage, and then got back into the car to drive forward before it was hit by the train. It pushed the vehicle more than 120m (400ft). It is not yet clear why the vehicle stalled on the tracks. A

A man has reportedly been blindfolded and thrown off a tower block in Syria for ‘being gay’ before being stoned to death after surviving the fall. The Shocking pictures of the execution, which were posted on Live Leak show ISIS militants hurling the man off the seven- storey building in the town of Tal Abyad in Raqqa. The man, who was supposedly being punished for having a ‘homosexual affair’, apparently survived the fall, but was stoned to death by a waiting crowd at the foot of the tower block. A man who was hell-bent on getting arrested, walked into a police station, dropped his pants and started masturbating in front of stunned cops. According to Dailymail,Ruhan Karjohn, 31, from Hartford Connecticut initially went into the police station at 1pm on Sunday and asked cops if there were any warrants out for his arrest. He was told there were none and he left. But a short time later he returned to the lobby of the police department and announced that he wanted to go to jail. In a bizarre series of events, police said Karjohn then dropped his pants and began to masturbate. According to a police report: 'Citizens in the lobby observed this and ran from the area in shock.' Karjohn then got his wish and was arrested and sent to jail. He has been charged with public indecency and a breach of peace.
