Prayers are the expression of desires we sincerely and seriously wish to manifest. To pray therefore means to communicate our desires to or commune with, the Deities to lend us a hand in ensuring that our desires come to pass as we intend.

Honesty according to Oxford dictionary described it as the way of “always telling the truth and never stealing or cheating”. Wikipedia describes honest to a “ Facet of moral character and connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, straight forwardness along with the absence of lying and cheating, theft etc.

A magistrate’s court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State has ordered the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, to arrest the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed  Akanbi, and bring him to court on January 6, 2017.

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has urged monarchs in Yoruba land to offer their subjects various forms of assistance and words of encouragement to give them hope especially in the present economic situation in the country.

It was 7 days ago from now (24- 12- 2016) when the Esu devotees or followers trooped out en- masse to give him (Esu) the walk he deserves all over the world by trying to correct the wrong perspective people view him from, saying the Yoruba Esu is the Bilical  Satan. 

Orisa oko is a very influential. He is very generous and very lively and understanding. He is known to be a prolific swimmer, hunter and fisherman.

Olokun is the divinity in charge of the sea. In fact, the world is surrounded by the ocean. Therefore, the ocean divinity cannot be ignored. It is said “gbogbo ola omi to nbe ni ile aye ko lee to t'olokun”

It is no news that some part of the American believed that women are forbidden to make an Ifa divination. They claimed to have their reason for such thing but in Yoruba religion, women also are allowed to make Ifa divination and even to perform the ebo also.
