The Irunmole of 401 that existed on earth have their favorite feeding material offered to them by their devotees respectively.  They also have their taboos which are not to be given to them by their devotes so also they have their mode of feeding which is the topic of discuss.

Traditional knowledge and customs are those beliefs, stories, aesthetics, and ways of a people that are part of cultural norm, that is passed from person to person or generation to generation. Nigeria as a country is blessed with a serene environment inhabited with a lot of good people from different ethnicities and cultural background. Yet, despite Nigeria’s good environment, encounters challenges in preserving the environment.

I sometimes sit down by myself, wondering why sometimes life could be unfair. You would see a person good at praying and at the same time, a person who is averagely good in prayers and a person who is poorly good in it. It then amazes me sometimes to see the person whose prayer is poorly made come to past immediately while those good and average ones are yet to be answered then the good and average ones wondered what went wrong for them. 

The popular Yoruba saying that goes thus: Bi a ba se bo Eegun si ni eegun ngbe ni si, bi a ba se bo Orisa si ni Orisa ngbe ni ( The ancestors give support according to how good they are worshiped; an Orisa rewards according to how well the Orisa is appeased to). This clearly stated that as an Ifa or Orisa devotee, you should find it as a must in taking care of your Ifa or Orisa, you should not just be a devotee only by words but importantly by actions.

The Ọmọlúàbí is a Yorùbá philosophical and cultural concept to describe a person of absolute goodness--An e pitome of humanity. The Ọmọlúàbí concept signifies courage, hard work, humility and respect, etc. An Ọmọlúàbí is a person of honor who understands the benefits of hard work, respects the rights of others, and gives to the community in deeds and in action. Above all, an Ọmọlúàbí is a person of high integrity.

Sanpona, referred to as the divinity of Small pox was divined aspect of communal diseases- Epidemics. In other to prevent epidemics like small pox, chicken pox, measles and other deadly diseases, this divinity is worshiped among the Yoruba. The concept Sanpoona was developed among the Yoruba when they began to live in close communities within large cities. That period is identified as the Oduduwa Age and cities affected were initially, probably, in the northern areas of the Oyo kingdom.

Elagbara is the Oriki name of Esu in the diaspora. Countries like Brazil, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago called him this name, the question is, is Esu referred to as Elegbaa in the Yorubaland? Yes, Esu has different kinds of oriki (praises names) but when he is being praised by his devotees he is not addressed as Elegbaa, he is called ALAGBARA which means the POWERFUL PERSON. Following the show of perceived animosity publicly displayed by the Oba of Lagos, Riliwan Akiolu towards The Imperial Majesty, The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, at an event in Lagos, Nigerians have been bearing their minds on the scene.

The blood sacrifice is a process of slaughtering and using the blood of the sacrificial animals such as pigeon, cock, hen, guinea fowl, duck, tortoise, he goat, she goat, ram, sheep, pig, cow, It should be noted that, as a diviner, you cannot do without blood sacrifice. One is not committing any crime by killing these animals; afterall we do slaughter chickens or other animals for consumption. The reason why these animals have to be killed is stipulated in Irosun Meji where God sent Oodua to the Earth.  I saw this while surfing the web then i decided to share to know your take on it. The Oba (king) of Lagos, Oba Riliwan Akinolu publicly insults the Ooni of Ife at a public function.. This is not suppose to be so. Watch and share your view on it....

Well, what can I say?. All but thank you to Olodumare The Supreme Being for adding another year to my years, he has shown me nothing but love ever since I was born. What about the Irunmole, My Orí? They have been merciful to me. The guidance they have given me, which they are still giving makes me understand how to go about life. They defeat my eleninis (enemies), protected me from any evil/ajogun in this life.

To any Yoruba man, the word "Orí" has several meanings, Orí means Head. It means the apex of all things, the highest of any endeavor. What Orí connotes therefore is superlative or the zenith. For instance, the head is the highest and most important in the human body. It houses the brain which controls the whole body. Orí is the head, "Head" is the top, "Top" is the Supreme while "Supreme Being" is Olodumare.
