Egbe (heavenly mates) is related to virtually all the deities that descended to the earth. Arguments still rage on whether òrìsà have any heavenly mates at all. The controversy stems from the fact that the Enikeji Orun  ( heavenly mate) comes to be as a result of his pair being born on earth. But the òrìsà were never born.
