Woman Goes N*ked, Spins Pants In The Air As She Dances During Funeral

Members of BMW clubs across South Africa came in numbers to the funeral of skilled spinner, Bongani Makhubo (40) of Soshanguve, Tshwane. As the cars spun around in circles, spectators cheered. Then a young woman took off her panties and began dancing in the middle of the spinning cars. But not everyone was pleased to see her waving her underwear in the air. John Lelaka said: “People are allowed to celebrate but not in a way that disturbs other people’s peace.” Bongani died last week after a short illness. The drivers respected the family during the formal burial ceremony at Soshanguve Cemetery. After the funeral, they had a spinning competition. About 300 gusheshe engines roared and the smell of burning rubber filled the air at Spin City. The funeral was attended by spinning clubs from Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Pretoria. Rio de Janeiro seeks help over violence March 21, 2014by BBC

The governor of Rio de Janeiro state is meeting Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff to discuss a series of recent attacks against police facilities. Governor Sergio Cabral is expected to ask for support from federal troops after three police bases were attacked on Thursday. At least one officer was shot. The police stations were set up in recent years to push drug dealers out of Rio’s favelas or shanty towns, ahead of the football World Cup in June. Just over a week ago, another policeman was shot dead in a similar attack. Three more have been killed since February. “It is clear that criminals want to weaken our policy of pacification and take back territories which were in criminal hands for decades,” Mr Cabral said ahead of the meeting with Ms Rousseff. In Manguinhos, a shanty town in the north of Rio, police vehicles were set on fire on Thursday night and the police unit’s commander was shot in the leg. “The state will not back down. The public may be sure we shall act,” the governor ...

Gang rape: Four men bag life imprisonment in India

Four men were on Friday sentenced to life imprisonment for gang-raping an 18-year old telephone operator in Mumbai, news reports said. Three of the men were found guilty for the gang rape of a 22-year old woman photojournalist in the same deserted mill complex in August, 2012. After the photojournalist complained to the police about the rape and the case made headlines across the country, the telephone operator came forward saying she had been raped at the same location a month earlier. The telephone operator identified three of the men accused in the photojournalist’s case as among the four who raped her. A fifth accused in the photojournalist’s gang rape, a minor, is being tried in a juvenile court. The attacks in Mumbai, known as one of India’s safest cities for women, sparked renewed anger over rape in India after a fatal gang rape of a student in a bus in New Delhi in December, 2012 led to weeks of protests. The government had promised swifter prosecutions after the Delhi gang rap...

A Florida man who killed two female co-workers by beating them with a hammer and setting them on fire during a robbery at a fabric store where they worked in 1987 was executed on Thursday. One witness to the lethal injection blurted out ‘Die!’ as the inmate read his last statement. Robert L. Henry, 55, was pronounced dead at 6:16 p.m. on Thursday after the chemical injection at the Florida State Prison. He was convicted of first-degree murder in the November 1987 deaths of Phyllis Harris, 53, and Janet Thermidor, 35, at the Deerfield Beach store. Authorities say about $1,200 was taken in the robbery. Before the execution, Henry read a three-minute statement in which he apologized for his crimes and said he hoped his death would comfort the families of the victims. But he also criticized the death penalty, saying thieves don't get their hands amputated as punishment. ‘Why would we continue to be murderers to those who have murdered?’ he said. Then, as he continued, an unidentified v...

Konrad and Jennifer Lightner were moving furniture on Sunday night when they saw the boy throwing toys out of the window of an apartment on N. Pass Avenue in Burbank.
