#Poem: Reincarnation (Atunda)

As pharaohs reborn
Our foreman:
mule us into stones carriers
Turn us into strawless brick makers
And steel their hearts against our cries

Like reincarnated neros
Our CONDUCTORS:
Fiddle with their guitars
Made of our skin, bone and ligaments
While our abode Burns
In congraflation of hate and injustice
as new caligulas
Our ZOO keepers:
Butcher and hack us to pieces
Caged animals under them
While they enjoy the show.
Like our tribal chiefs of yore
Our LEADERS:
Bribe and are 'bribable'
While bullets and mirrors equates a man in the old.
As reincarnated bourbourns
Our CHARGE DE AFFAIRES:
ask us to eat cakes
while depriving us of bread.
we are statues in their court s
to be pawed, ignored and unsatisfied
Like chakas of old
Our LEADERS:
Witch hunt us and milk our sustenance
carving their destines on our heads and we wait and hope for the savior and our MESSIAH .
unknowing that we are the savior because they can't exist without US.
why then...why?
can't we withdraw our support like the Israelites? the Praetorian Guards? and the Frenchmen?
..
