Death! Death!! Death!!! Iku they say does not know those that respect those respect is due to Iku neither know the young the young nor the old. It does not care to hit you with his Kumo (baton) while you sleeping. An inevitable Ajogun that nobody can escape its punishment. This powerful Ajogun has done it again by striking the Araba of Odi-Olowo and the Oluwo of Ijo Orunmila Ato Ebute-metta with his Kumo.

Also known as Alaragbo in some areas of Yoruba land, Egbe is generally more associated with children than with adults according to Eji-Ogbe. Based on the character traits of human on Earth, the Yoruba have classified Egbe into different categories.

These are twins. The twins are not affiliated to any deity whatsoever. They are deities in their own right. According to Ifa, Oduduwa, the father of mankind gave birth to a set of twins eight times. It is true that other people do give birth to triplets, quadruplets and more, but the birth of twins is still considered the most unique and most spiritually potent and rewarding.

A magistrate’s court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State has ordered the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, to arrest the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed  Akanbi, and bring him to court on January 6, 2017.

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has urged monarchs in Yoruba land to offer their subjects various forms of assistance and words of encouragement to give them hope especially in the present economic situation in the country.

It was 7 days ago from now (24- 12- 2016) when the Esu devotees or followers trooped out en- masse to give him (Esu) the walk he deserves all over the world by trying to correct the wrong perspective people view him from, saying the Yoruba Esu is the Bilical  Satan.
