Trial judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia had earlier struck out the suit which was filed by a former detainee in the Williams’ murder, Bashir Junaid. The judge had struck out the suit for want of diligent prosecution. But on Monday, the judge granted an application to re-list the suit.

Kaduna state governor, Nasir El Rufai has reduced the number of ministries in the state from 19 to 13. The downsizing in the number of ministries was contained in a statement released by his media aide, Samaila Aruwan today June 9th According to the statement, the reduction is being carried out to cut the cost of running the various ministries.
