Samsung unveils Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

Samsung has unveiled two new smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge at its Galaxy Unpacked event at Mobile World Congress (MWC), which the company claims will "set a new standard for smartphones".

The Samsung Galaxy S6 carries the world's first embedded wireless solution, certified with WPC and PMA Standards.

Within 10 minutes of lying the phone on the separately sold charging pad, it will be sufficiently charged to watch two hours worth of HD Video Play, the company said.

The S6 Edge is curved on both sides, meaning the display wraps around the entire width of the handset. The design is an extention of the Galaxy Note Edge, which is curved along the right hand side only.
