Elections May Be Shifted To March 28 & April 11

There are strong indications that
the presidential and National
Assembly elections originally
scheduled for 14 February may
have been shifted to March 28 while
the governorship and states houses
of assembly elections earlier fixed
for 28 February will now hold on 11
April.

The Independent National Electoral
Commission, INEC, is expected to make a formal announcement of the
changes later today.
