Ambode doesn't have what it takes to manage Lagos- Obanikoro

Former Chairman of Lagos Island local government area and Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has urged residents of Lagos not to vote for the governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Akinwunmi Ambode, stating
that he does not have what it takes to manage the state.

“When I was the chairman of Lagos Island, Ambode was a council treasurer and I can tell you that he (Ambode) doesn’t have what it
takes to manage a state like Lagos. Ambode was forced to resign as a civil servant by the government and we must look into his record,” he said.

Obanikoro also noted that Ambode is a puppet to the power that be in the state, while recommending the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olujimi Agbaje as the man of the people with the capacity to manage
the state.

“In Lagos State, we have a case of the puppet and puppeteer and Lagosians are saying that
both of them must be thrown away on February 28. Agbaje is a man of the people and he has the capacity to manage our state,” he added.

He posted the message on his facebook page.
