Two children die as church takes Christmas party to hotel

Two children died during a Christmas party organised by Christ Apostolic Church Ijoyin, Ile Ife in Osun State.

It was gathered on Monday that the church had organised a programme for youths  of the church at Amusement recreational  park  in Ibadan but the trip landed the youths at JMT Events & Hotel Osogbo on December 23rd.

‎The victims are Ayomide Fagbola and Ifeoluwa who were both 16-year-old.Ifeoluwa, who was said to be a student at St.Mulumba Catholic College,Lagere Ile-Ife, reportedly died inside the swimming pool during the programme.‎

It was confirmed by a top security personnel that the pastors of the church have been arrested by the Osun State Police Command.

One of the mothers of the dead victim, Mrs Roseline Fagbola refused to accept that her child is dead.

She insisted that the pastor and his wife should produced his child.
