Suicide bomber kills admission seekers in Kano

A suicide bomb has exploded at a college in northern Nigeria’s biggest city, Kano, and there are casualties, witnesses say.

The explosion occurred as students queued to check their names on a new admission list, they added.Bodies lay strewn at the blast site, witnesses told the BBC.

The bomber was hidden in the crowd, a witness, Isyaku Adamu, told the AFP news agency.

The BBC’s Yusuf Ibrahim Yakasai in Kano says police have not yet confirmed the blast.The number of people killed or woundedis still unclear.

Almost every practitioner, if not all have had Ifa initiation, even those who are not practitioners find themselves initiated for a convinced reason known to them.
