MAPOLY Mass communication students protest over lack of P.A.S

200 level students of mass-communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic,Ojere, Abeokuta Ogun state(MAPOLY) have protested over the lack public address system(PAS) and lack of good lecture room. The incident happened on Wednesday at 4:30pm when the evening students were receiving lecture and the PAS was malfunctioning. The students, especially the evening students have been complaning from the begining of the semester that the Association of mass communication students have not been active ever since they were elected. The co-ordinator of the evening 200 level students Mr. Adeosun Sola said the students should calm down and they should go document the problems they are facing that he would do anything in his power to make things go in order. The Head of department (H.O.D) Mr. Sina Aina also addressed the students to be calm. ' I was at the administrative office when i got the information that my students are protesting'. He added. The HOD also told the students that they have the right to protest but they should have let him be aware before going on protest that they have had a meeting with the rector and he has promised to put everything in order. The sub-dean of the centre for part-time programme assured the students that by Monday 7, every problem is going to be fixed.
