Exposed:- “Oyo Government Owns Ibadan kidnappers’ Den”

A former government official in Oyo state has countered the claim that a property with decomposing corpses and emaciated people discovered in the Soka area of Ibadan was a den used by kidnappers and ritual killers. It would be recalled that on the 22nd of March, a shocking discovery of an Ibadan Forest of Horror was made. Ayodele Adigun, a former secretary to the state government, said the property was an abandoned government-run camp for the mentally challenged. Writing in the Guardian Newspaper, Mr. Adigun alleged that the premises discovered last March was an abandoned sewage treatment plant converted to a camp for lunatics abducted from the streets of Ibadan by the Oyo State government as part of a campaign to beautify Ibadan. The news of the discovery of the alleged kidnappers den and its horrid condition filled the sensibilities of Nigerians with horror. Over 20 decomposing corpses and horribly emaciated people, some in the throes of death, were found at the den when a group of c

Announcing Moyes' departure on their official Twitter account, United added: "The club would like to place on record its thanks for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role." Moyes had endured a torrid campaign in charge of the reigning Premier League champions, with Sunday's abject 2-0 loss to former club Everton guaranteeing that the Red Devils will miss out on a place in the Champions League next season. Defeat at Goodison Park was their 11th of the season - just one fewer than relegation battling West Brom - and left the club languishing in seventh place in the table. A 9-month-old baby boy from California was pronounced dead Wednesday after he was left alone in his father's hot car for 10 hours. According to police, the San Jose resident forgot to drop off his son at his babysitter's home before heading to work and only learned of what happened when he returned to pick up his car. Just after 7pm Wednesday, officers received a 911 call about an unresponsive baby in the backseat of an SUV parked in the 3700 of Payne Avenue in San Jose. First responders who arrived on the scene pronounced the child dead from a suspected heat stroke a short time later. Temperatures hovered around the 80-degree mark Wednesday, but inside the locked car it was likely at least 20 degrees hotter, NBC Bay Areareported. Soldier, 50 others killed in Taraba

According to a Vanguard report, no fewer than 50 people, including a soldier, were reportedly killed and several others injured in Wukari, the headquarters of Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State yesterday, following a bloody clash between the Fulani herdsmen and Jukuns in the area. Places of worships were among several buildings that were burnt by the belligerent groups. The crises reportedly started Tuesday at 10a.m. at Nwokyo village, near Wukari town, last week. It was said the situation escalated when the Jukuns, who went on a reprisal attack, lost seven of their members Tuesday evening. The Jukuns in Wukari were alleged to have been further infuriated when they saw the corpses of their men being conveyed to the Wukari General Hospital morgue at 4.30p.m. and started attacking suspected Fulani or Muslims in the area. Speaking with newsmen on the crises, the member representing Wukari I at the Taraba State House of Assembly, Ishaya Gani, said that his immediate elder brother

Messi mentally fatigued- former Barca coach

According to a report, Former Barcelona head coach Cesar Luis Menotti believes that Lionel Messi is suffering from mental fatigue following a poor run of form. Messi has faced criticism for a lacklustre showing in Barca’s UEFA Champions League exit to La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid at the quarter-final stage last week. The Argentina international also failed to reach his usual high standards as Barcelona crashed to a 1-0 defeat at Granada on Saturday – a result that severely hinders their hopes of retaining the Spanish title. Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta leapt to Messi’s defence earlier this week, insisting that all is well with the 26-year-old despite his slump in form. However, Menotti – who coached Barcelona between 1983 and 1984 – thinks that Messi is mentally burnt out, and reckons that he needs to rediscover his “joy” of playing for Barcelona. Speaking toLa Xarxa, Menotti said, “Messi has to overcome the sadness of poor performances and rediscover the joy, prid
