For every name that exists in the Yoruba race has an attached meaning.  It does not only has a meaning, but it also relates to the family lineage history or perhaps, the religion of which is practiced by such family. For every Irunmole, there are names attached to each of them.  They stand as prefixes to these names. Ogun for example stands as a prefix to the name Biyi. When matched together it becomes Ogunbiyi which means "Ogun gives birth to this" or "Ogun's child".

Egungun also we all know is the deity of the departed ancestors. The belief of Yoruba people and Ifa is that even departed ancestors are still part and parcel to the larger family. Below are ten facts you should know about Egungun.

Igba didi is a special ritual in Egbe, which is used to cure anti-social behavior, People with the experience of having sex in the dreams and in reality Semen appear all over their body are said to be the victims of "Oko-Orun" (Spirit husband). No matter how beautiful a lady may be, if she is a victim of Oko Orun, she would definitely have a problem in getting married as she is stigmatized by the husband in heaven thus making potential suitors lose interest in her without any plausible reason (Salami 2014). In this kind of situation IGBA DIDI should be done for this victim in order to tear the Oko-orun and the victim apart. It is widely believed that the word "Olodumare" is the indigenous pronunciation of God in the Yoruba race. The fact that the Yorubas are people who for no reason give names to things without no meaning makes them an ethnicity which am proud to be of. 

The Yoruba Tradition Elders Committee has sent warning to those Ifa/Orisa pratitioners who award "fake" titles to the Diaspora practitioners. The statement was made on the 22/07/2017 after their meeting in Osogbo at the Araba Elebuibon's Palace. Oyo clash: Traditional religion elders rise in defence of Ifa priests   Elders of Traditional Religion worshipers under the aegis of the Concerned Committee of Yoruba Traditional Culture and Faith Ambassadors have stood in defence of  three Ifa priests accused of impersonating the Alaafin of  Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, and extorting some foreigners, who are Ifa practitioners.

The relationship between Irunmole and Omo eniyan was symbiotic in nature and rewarding especially for Omo eniyan.   There are five major ways by which Irunmole relate effectively with Omo eniyan right from the emergence of man on earth. The ways include the following
