Yesterday, Floyd Mayweather won the fight of the century but was hit with the realization that, he is not as loved as his opponent, Manny Pacquiao.. Many blame it on his incessant show offs.Floyd for the first time in history has decided not to rub his success in people's faces..No tweets, no  instagram  posts and,unlike in the past, he refused to show off his $100m cheque on Saturday night.

According to  The Citizen Online,  there are at least 11 Nigerians currently on death row in Indonesia for various drug-related offenses. With the win, Mayweather improved to 48–0 in his professional career. Both fighters are expected to take home more than $100 million, making the fight the richest in history. Mayweather takes home 60% of the purse and Pacquiao receives the other 40%.

It was confirmed late last night that actor Peter Bunor has passed on. His son, Peter Bunor Jnr made the announcement on Facebook saying: ‘In the early hours of today,my father,friend,teacher,confidant passed on.’ At this point there has been no confirmation on the cause of death but it is reported that he died of complications from an ailment and his battle with stroke in the past few years. Tragedy struck in Badagry, Lagos, yesterday, when a three-month-old infant, Abiodun Alabi was burnt to death. The fire incident occurred at Wazobia Junction, Tako 11, when a new mother, who lives in a self contained apartment with her 10year old son and 3 month old daughter, went to a night vigil and left her 10 year old son to watch the infant.
