David Cameron has announced that he is quitting as Prime Minister of Britain after the country voted to leave the European Union on Friday . Cameron said he does not think he is “the captain” that will “steer the country” in the new direction. He said this in a broadcast outside of Downing Street on Friday. “The British people have voted to leave the EU and their will must be respected. The will of the British people is an instruction that must be delivered. There can be no doubt about the result. Across the world people have been watching the choice that Britain has made. This will require strong, determined and committed leadership. I am very proud to have been Prime Minister of this country for six years. I have held nothing back. The British people have made a very clear decision to leave. I think the country requires fresh leadership. I do not think I can be the captain to take the country to its next destination. In my view I think we should have a new prime minister

A 65-year-old Indian man, Andhra Pradesh, died in a movie theatre last week while watching a screening of The Conjuring 2. The incident occurred at the Sri Balasubramaniar Cinema in Tiruvannamalai, a town in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Pradesh, had complained of chest pains while watching the film, and fainted shortly afterwards. He was rushed to a nearby Old Government Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. Medics ordered his body to be sent to the Tiruvannamalai Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem but, according to the Times of India, his body, and the person charged with taking the body there, have both gone missing. A court has sentenced a primary school gay teacher to 90 years in prison after finding him guilty of sexually assaulting nine pupils. John Gichia Mugi, 23, was convicted of indecently assaulting 10 boys of Muthiria Primary School in Kiharu Constituency on various dates between January and May 2015. The court jailed him for nine years for each of the ten counts. The victims, aged between 13 and 16 years, had testified that the teacher, who was also their boarding master, would lure them and fondle their private parts after night preps as he kissed them. Resident Magistrate Jesse Masiga, who handed him the stiff sentence said the accused deserved a deterrent sentence, adding that every count attracted a jail term of nine years. The magistrate said the teacher had breached the trust bestowed on him by parents, adding that the offence was too heinous. “The prosecution had proved beyond reasonable doubt that you had sexually assaulted the boys,” Mr Masiga said. ‘I sentence you to ser

The Lagos state Court of Appeal has granted actress Ibinabo Fiberesima bailin the sum of N 2million and two sureties who are residents in Lagos in like sum. Her bail application was heard today April 7th. She was granted bail pending the outcome of her appeal at the supreme court.Ibinabo was sent to jail on March 11 by the state Court of Appeal after validating the 5 year jail term handed down to the actress by the state’s High court over the 2005 accident in which her car killed one Dr Giwa.

A US woman is facing a one-year prison sentence for violating a protection order by tagging victims in a Facebook post and making derogatory comments about them. Despite being divorced from her ex-husband Rafael Calderon and issued with a protection order preventing her from contacting her ex-husband or his family, Maria Gonzalez of New York decided to tag her former sister-in-law Maribel Calderon in a Facebook post and call her 'stupid', according to the New York Law Journal.Gonzalez also tagged Calderon in another post saying: "You and your family are sad ...
