African billionaire Aliko Dangote says he is still keen on buying Arsenal. The 58-year-old Nigerian, who is worth over an estimated €13.5 billion - which makes him Africa's richest man - explored the possibility of purchasing the club in 2010, but his approach was rejected. "I still hope, one day at the right price, that I'll buy the team," Dangote told Bloomberg Business. "I might buy it, not at a ridiculous price but a price that the owners won't want to resist. I know my strategy." Dangote, who has made his fortune through various operations including cement manufacturing, sugar supply and oil investments, says that he will concentrate on expanding his own business before launching a new offer for Arsenal. “We have $16bn-worth [€14bn] of investments in the next few years. He was the betting favorite from the day the fight was announced. The judges' scores were 118-110, 116-112 and 116-112 in favor of Mayweather. With the win, Mayweather improved to 48–0 in his professional career. Both fighters are expected to take home more than $100 million, making the fight the richest in history. It was confirmed late last night that actor Peter Bunor has passed on. His son, Peter Bunor Jnr made the announcement on Facebook saying: ‘In the early hours of today,my father,friend,teacher,confidant passed on.’ At this point there has been no confirmation on the cause of death but it is reported that he died of complications from an ailment and his battle with stroke in the past few years. Tragedy struck in Badagry, Lagos, yesterday, when a three-month-old infant, Abiodun Alabi was burnt to death. The fire incident occurred at Wazobia Junction, Tako 11, when a new mother, who lives in a self contained apartment with her 10year old son and 3 month old daughter, went to a night vigil and left her 10 year old son to watch the infant.
