Mom thrown in jail after waitress reported her for breastfeeding while drinking has defended her decision to have a beer

An Arkansas mother who was arrested in a restaurant for breastfeeding her baby after having two beers has defended her decision to have a drink. Mother-of-three Tasha Adams had been at a Conway restaurant with her family for dinner in November when an off-duty waitress reported her to police for consuming alcohol. Adams, 28, was arrested for child endangerment and taken to jail, and her six-month-old baby Ana was left in the care of her family. Charges against Adams were dropped last week because there wasn't enough evidence to prove she had been too drunk to care for her child. But the 28-year-old told ABC's 20/20she wishes the police had given her a breathalyzer test at the restaurant to prove she hadn't endangered her baby. 'If I’m drunk, I feel, you know, that I’m not able to take care of my kids,' Adams said. 'I wish they would’ve given me a breathalyzer so it could be proven.' Adams, a florist from Toad Suck, had stopped off at the Gusano's Pizzeri

Pregnant mom who 'drove kids into ocean' smiles as she's allowed to remain in hospital psychiatric unit until she's fit to return to jail

A pregnant South Carolina woman accused of driving her car into the ocean with her three children on board will be allowed to receive in-hospital psychiatric care until a doctor says she's fit to return to jail. Ebony Wilkerson, 32, was given the news during a 10-minute bond hearing Tuesday in Daytona Beach. It was a continuation of a hearing that began last week, however, Judge Leah Case wanted to hear more testimony before making a decision as to whether she required more mental health care. Wilkerson's defense attorneys also agreed to withdraw a request to reduce her $1.2 million bond on six felony charges — including attempted murder. They can refile it later. Wilkerson will also receive prenatal care and be allowed supervised exercise time. Last week, a Florida court heard that Wilkerson tried to harm her unborn child as well as her three children. The pregnant woman was seen ‘beating her stomach with her fists’ after her arrest, it was claimed in a bond hearing. The 32-ye

Fire rages through massive Houston apartment complex destroying the entire building within TWENTY MINUTES. By mail online:

A large apartment complex under construction in Houston has been consumed by fire, sending thick, black smoke billowing into the sky and drawing hundreds of emergency personnel. Much of the high-rise structure was reduced to rubble on Tuesday by wind-driven flames. Houston Fire Department spokesman Capt. Ruy Lozano told the Houston Chronicle that the only people inside were construction workers and it is believed they all got out safely There were no injuries, but a construction worker had to be rescued from the third floor, according to HFD. Employees at a nearby high-rise say the worker tried to use a fire extinguisher to put out the flames on the roof, but the fire suddenly began spreading. They watched in horror as the man looked desperately for a way to get down. 'The firemen did rescue him, but he did have to drop down a floor as the entire top floor started burning,' the employee said in an email. At one point, the worker dangled perilously from a third floor window sill

Dzeko, Toure win derby for Man City

Edin Dzeko bagged a double,Yaya Toure fired in a late third as Manchester City moved up to second in the Premier League table with a comfortable 3-0 win against Manchester Unitedat Old Trafford. David Moyes' men were buoyed by good wins over Olympiakos and West Ham heading into the contest but City stung them instantly as Edin Dzeko scored after 43 seconds to register the fastest away goal at Old Trafford in Premier League history. United proceeded to stagger their way through the opening exchanges and rarely threatened to stop City extending their present dominance of the fixture to five wins from six league meetings, although Juan Mata might have levelled matters six minutes before the interval. Dzeko finished precisely 11 minutes into the second half to give City breathing space and Yaya Toure added a third in the 90th minute, the Ivorian's fourth goal in two games. Manuel Pellegrini's team are well-placed in the title race, three points behind leaders Chelsea with two g

Real Madrid have no defence as they surrender title supremacy

By Ben Hayward. Everything had appeared in Real Madrid's favour. With Barcelona faltering in recent weeks and Atletico also in their slipstream, Carlo Ancelotti's side approached theClasicowith confidence and the comfortable cushion of a four-point advantage over their fierce foes. All they had to do was defend it. But they couldn't. Defending, in fact, was far from the strong point of either side on Sunday. Andres Iniesta was allowed time and space to escape alone on the left and blast Barca into an early lead. Then, Karim Benzema twice took advantage of poor marking from the Catalans to turn it around before Lionel Messi negotiated his way through a crowd of Madrid defenders to make it 2-2 at half-time. The second half was a tale of three penalties: Madrid got the first when Cristiano Ronaldo went down outside the area in what looked an innocuous challenge by Dani Alves; Neymar then threw himself to the ground after a collision which saw Sergio Ramos sent off and Messi m
