As the Yoruba adage goes "Odo ti o ba gbagbe orisun re, o se tan a ti parun" ( The river that forgets it source is ready for extinction). The African Diaspora Ancestor Commemoration Institute (ADACI) never forgets her source as she celebrates her 25th Commemoration anniversary which comes up on the 9th and 10th of June 2017 at Washington D.C the country's (U.S.A) capital plus you are all invited to take part in the movement.

River Walk for the ancestors will take place  not leaving out lectures from spiritual leaders like Oloye Fakunle Oyesanya ( President ADACI Nigeria) among others. Celebration will then be after.

Below shows the video about the River Walk so you better make sure you make it count.

Be there...

Short note on ADACI
•(ADACI) is dedicated to institutionalizing the
•commemoration of the millions of Africans lost during the Atlantic and   other periods of enslavement.
Founded in 1992 as a non-profit corporation in Washington, D.C., the purpose of ADACI is to:
Celebrate the extraordinary collective fortitude that has sustained Africans and their descendants through this massive lost;
Examine and better understand the circumstances that led to and sustained this loss so that it will never happen again;
Acknowledge and strengthen a common bond that connects Africans around the world; and

Reaffirm the ability of Africans and their descendants to overcome obstacles of enormous magnitude as Africans have in the past, and fortify the inherent strength of Africans that has enabled continued advancement. This reaffirmation is intended to serve as a catalyst in the development of a course of action to remove barriers to self-determination.
